This program introduces engineering design concepts, a product dissection project, basics of manufacturing processes, elementary modeling of engineering systems and technical communications. You might also learn about theory of flight, advanced aerodynamics, airplane operation, aircraft performance, navigation, publications, regulations and basic emergency procedures. You could even get the chance to participate in real world applications of aeronautical design and engineering through various high school and collegiate design competitions.
