“CAN I INTEREST YOU IN A SALES ROLE?”

The marketing department thinks they’re the ones getting customers to buy, but you know you’re the driving force behind every sale the company makes!

As a Sales Rep or Sales Manager, you get out there and meet people at tradeshows, or you make / take calls with customers, listen to their needs, and find the right product for their company. More than anything, you build relationships and provide stellar customer service, so that the customer has the right product, and they get it when they need it so they keep coming back for more. Day to day, you’re speaking to new customers about new orders, making sure your existing customers get their orders on time, resolving customer complaints, and keeping track of sales performance to hit monthly goals. You might also help train new sales reps. Best of all, this is one of the only jobs where you get rewarded for how good your work is! Now, sell me this pen! (Yes, that’s a Wolf of Wall Street reference)
