YOU ARE THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOM MADE

Every customer, every job, every project has different needs, and your job is to make sure that every machine your company sells is built to the unique specifications.

Your day to day role as a Sales Engineer is to work with the sales team to understand specific customer requirements for machines, tools, or parts that your company manufactures. In many cases, you will travel to the customers’ locations to help them find the right machine configuration for their operations, and to help them install the machinery and computer systems to get the systems working. You’ll also sometimes train the customers’ teams on how to use the machinery and systems. You will also work with the engineering teams to make modifications to systems for customers, and to understand all of the technical specifications of each product you are selling. At the end of the day, you’re not just going to a customer to sell them a product – you’re custom tailoring a solution to meet their needs, and working with sales and engineering teams to make the transaction happen.
