Pick up your fire-sword, it’s time to go to work!

As a Welder, you use hand-welding and flame cutting equipment to join or repair metal components.

In any day, you’ll be on your feet, on your back, and on your side, wielding your welder with precision. Of course, accuracy is critical to the job, and you will measure parts and make sure they are being connected according to the specifications you’ve been given. You day to day life will be setting up parts that are going to be connected, welding them, checking them, and moving onto the next part in your list for the day. Jobs will come in and jobs will go out, and you’ll determine the best equipment and setups to get those jobs done. You’re almost like a builder, but instead of using wood and nails, you’re using metal and fire!
